H1N1 (Swine Flu) Virus Update

As our principal, Mr. Patrick Ruff, mentioned in this newsletter last spring, we are enacting the necessary daily precautions to protect against the H1N1 (Swine Flu) virus. However, more than just adhering to good rules of hygiene and cleanliness, we need your help to ensure that all of our students remain healthy. Clear communication between parents and the school will be key towards realizing this goal. Here are a few important steps to remember:

  1. If your son or daughter has a fever, please do not let him or her attend school that day and be sure to keep your son or daughter at home until the fever and flu-like symptoms have been absent for at least 24 hours.
  2. If you have any concerns you may contact your health care provider or the Department of Public Health about the possibility of being tested for the H1N1 (Swine Flu) virus.
  3. Please notify the Office of the Deans at (415) 731-8571 as soon as possible regarding your son or daughter’s illness.
  4. Lastly, please realize we all want your sons and daughters here happy and healthy.

Thank you for your cooperation regarding this matter.
