SIPAC Co-Chairs
A group of S.I. Asian parents formed the S.I. Parents Asian Club (SIPAC) in July 2006. A core group met and formed a Board of Directors. We invited all Asian parents to join and become active members. We met with Father Walsh several times and received support for our efforts. He shared many excellent suggestions and ideas for our club. With his continued support, Ms. Serena Chan joined the club in 2007 as the liaison between the faculty and SIPAC.
The mission of our club is to create a social network that will help Asian parents get to know each other and to provide support and assistance to one another where needed. We will share experiences and knowledge about the school and student life that will enhance the school experience for both the students and parents. Ultimately, the club would like our members to increase their level of participation and contribution to the school.
