Sports Camps of All Types 2010
- Ages and times vary. May be combined with academic programs.
- Dates: June 14 - July 23. Monday, July 5 is a holiday.
- Time: Morning camps: 9 a.m. - noon; Afternoon camps: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Cost: Cost varies by camp. Includes a camp T-shirt. Same fees as 2009!
- Camps for 2010: Morning Camp for grades 1 - 6, Baseball, Basketball, Crew (new camp!), Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Golf (new camp!), Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field, Training for the High School Athlete, Volleyball, & Olympic Weightlifting.
Performing Arts Camps 2010: Dramatic Arts & Musical Theatre
- Ages: Grades 3 - 9 (as of fall 2010). May be combined with academic programs.
- Dates: Session 1- Dramatic Arts: June 21 - July 2; Session 2 - Musical Theatre: July 12 - July 23 (two-week camps)
- Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Cost: $420. Includes a camp T-shirt. Same fee as 2009!
New! Studio Arts Camp 2010: Young at Art
- Explore various materials to create projects to make in class and bring home. Color! Texture! Shape! Contrast!
- Ages: Grades 1 - 4 (as of fall 2010)
- Dates: June 21 - 25 (One week only!)
- Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Cost: $240. Includes a camp T-shirt.

Studio Arts Camp 2010: Color & Form
- Explore color, form and texture. We will paint and make sculpture, be inspired by architecture and use recycled materials to create an “Eco-Quilt”.
- Ages: Grades 5 - 9 (as of fall 2010). May be combined with academic programs.
- Dates: June 28 - July 2 (One week only!)
- Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Cost: $240. Includes a camp T-shirt. Same fee as 2009!

New! Music Arts Camp 2010: Instrumental Music Camp

Do you already play an instrument? Do you want to learn? Come and join the Instrumental Music Camp! If you already play you'll join in songs and activities with your own instrument. For those of you who don't already play, you will learn the introductory basics of violin, cello or trumpet. Campers without instruments will rent one for the week on the first day of camp for a nominal fee. Campers will compose their own pieces and learn music theory. Everyone will take part in a culminating performance on Friday afternoon! Instruments: Strings, Winds, Brass, Percussion. We will take a limited number of pianists, guitarists and drummers. Pianists, guitarists and drummers may be asked to learn a
string, brass or wind
instrument at camp.

New! French Language Immersion Camp 2010
- Amusons-nous en français! Spend four days immersed in the French language and culture of the francophone world. Each day students will participate in a variety of cultural activities designed to give them a total French immersion experience. Students should be able to carry on a simple two minute conversation about everyday activities using the present tense. Each participant must have a willingness to speak only in French so that the immersion experience will be successful.
- Ages: Grades 7, 8 or 9 (as of fall 2010). May be combined with academic programs.
- Dates: July 6 - 9 (One 4-day camp only!)
- Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Cost: $192. Includes a camp T-shirt.

New! HSPT (High School Placement Test) Workshop
- Here's an additional opportunity to work on your math and English skills in preparation for the HSPT. Build proficiency in mathematics and language skills. Learn time-management and test-taking strategies. Increase your self-confidence.
- Ages: Grades 7 or 8 (as of fall 2010). May be combined with academic programs.
- Dates: July 12 - 16 (One week only!)
- Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Cost: $240. Includes book.

New! Competitive Speech Performance Camp 2010
- Come join us for our five day competitive speech camp. Students will learn about all the different aspects of competitive speech performance: interpretative, oratorical, and extemporaneous speaking styles. Includes a special performance for parents on the last day of camp.
- Ages: Grades 7, 8 or 9 (as of fall 2010). May be combined with academic programs.
- Dates: July 19 - 23 (One week only!)
- Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
- Cost: $240. Includes a camp T-shirt.

Summer Cat Camp for Incoming St. Ignatius Freshmen: Class of 2014
- Meet your new classmates, participate in two sports and one art class daily, and explore the SI campus!
- Dates: June 14 - June 18 (One week only!)
- Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Cost: $440 for the week. Same fee as 2009!
- Cost includes a special camp performance shirt, daily lunch and social event on Friday afternoon.
- Enrollment limited to the first 50 boys and 50 girls to register.
* FREE of CHARGE: Supervised area for early drop off from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. from June 21 - July 23.
* FREE of CHARGE: Supervised lunch area from noon to 1 p.m. in our school cafeteria from June 21 - July 23.
Students may bring a bag lunch or purchase it.
High School Courses 2010
- These courses are not remedial courses. These courses are for currently enrolled SI students. The spaces available will be opened to non-SI students on April 8, 2010.
- Dates: June 14 - July 23. Monday, July 5 is a holiday.
- Dates for Petition to Junior Precalculus: June 14 - July 16. Monday, July 5 is a holiday.
- Times: Times vary by course.
- Courses to be offered in 2010: Biology, Chemistry, Drivers' Education,
English 460 - Fiction into Film, Petition to Junior Precalculus (no credit course for current SI sophomores only), Physics, & World History 2 .
- Cost: Cost varies by course.
- Registration site opens on March 8, 2010 at 6 a.m.
- You will need a Visa or Mastercard to register.
- You will need the student's ID number and PIN number in order to register. (This is the same login info that you use to access your student's grades) Parents - To have the ID and PIN emailed to you at the email address we have in our contact information for you, go to www.siprep.org/directory/retrieve. Due to the security-sensitive nature of PINs, we will not release them by phone or to an email address that is not in our contact information for you.
